Obviously, if someone is going to be ridiculous enough to write an article stating that “straight black men are the white people of black people” that opens the door for this article.
And that’s a door I’m willing to walk through.
The difference is, I’m not going to make brash assumptions based on rhetoric to push an underhanded gay agenda. Let’s paint the picture with facts and numbers. Something the liberal black is remiss of.
And for the record, black women are not the white people of black people. But if we’re going to make weird comparisons, they would be.
But before we get into that let’s take a quick look at something.
Isn’t it the liberal black that always complains about “centering white people” and making them the focal point? If so, why would they write a ridiculous article that centers white people?
Do you want to know why? Because they want to be white people and are jealous of white people.
And they hate straight black men – which is why gay black men were excluded from their divisive blog post. Probably, because they were abandoned or abused by one.
But here’s the truth: Black women are privileged.
How can I say this? It’s simple.
Black women consume more social media than all other demographics combined.
Black women watch more TV than all other U.S. women combined.
Black women spend 10% more time shopping in stores than white women.
To me, it appears that black women have a ton of free time on their hands. With all this free time, how can black men be more privileged than black women?
Oppression only lives in their delusional reality bubbles (their narcissistic head) which they express and exaggerate during their exuberant amount of time spent on social media. Isn’t social media the new slavery?
Meanwhile, the same oppressor they complain about and protest, profits from their engagement in media. How can you complain about white supremacy and white privilege when you spend more time “wandering” around THEIR stores than white women?
Are white women the black people of white people? 😂
Black women are outpacing all other women in business ownership growth.
It appears to me like black women are WINNING! And I’m proud of them. They should be. They are my counterpart and there’s nothing I’d rather see more than them excelling.
But let’s look at the numbers.
Black women accounted for 64% of all bachelor’s degrees (2013-2014) compared to only 36% for black men. That’s nearly double the rate of black men.
In fact, black women outpaced ALL OTHER ethnic groups in bachelor’s degrees earned!
Going by these stats, I’d say black women are not only the white people of black people but black women are the new white people. How’s that for a hot take? 😂
Here’s my issue with all of this. Why are we engaging in gender wars? Isn’t this clearly creating division during a time when we need unity?
Isn’t it obvious that the strings of feminism and so-called social activism are controlling our every move? All that time spent on social media is obviously conditioning female thought patterns.
Am I the only one that knows that there is a man behind the curtain calling the shots? Isn’t he the one that owns the platform that TheRoot.com sits on?
The Root is owned by Univision which was acquired by Broadcasting Media Partners Inc. – a consortium of investment firms led by the Haim Saban-owned Saban Capital Group. With the founder being American, Israeli, Haim Saban.
Don’t you think that “they” love to see us fighting amongst ourselves? It’s the oldest trick in the war book – divide and conquer. We’re being PLAYED!
They provide the battlefield for us to kill each other while they sit back and profit from both ends.
Wake up, people!
Yes, we are different in many ways but we are similar in much more ways. Our struggles may differ and so do our privileges. Men have certain privileges and women have certain privileges. There’s nothing wrong with that.
What we must do is take the information and figure out how we can make our privileges work TOGETHER!
Unity over petty.
